75cl. bottle, Christmas dinner 2020 A very bold blend with 65% Saperavi, Rară Neagră 20% and Bastardo 15%. Still young but very complex fruity bouquet! Dark ruby colour, with scents of cherries and dark fruits, blackberries, currants and prunes. The taste it doesn't blow your senses from the beginning, starting with some wood and leather notes and then turning to a different taste with all those fruity notes previously smelled. Tannic in finish. Some spices are there too. Medium body with good acidity. It goes well with pork and beef "sarmale" but also cocoa and walnuts filled cozonac. I will be looking for previous vintages and to check 2019 next year!
Un vin pe care l-am așteptat câțiva ani în rezerva proprie. Vizual, culoare intensă, rubinie. În 👃 o notă intensă de ciocolată neagră, dulce, cu fructe roșii și negre de pădure. Pe 👅din nou ciocolată în vârf, vișine coapte din palatin, și iar ciocolată cu note de piper roșu în finiș. Per ansamblu un vin delicios, care are nevoie de o bună aerare pentru a se exprima, cu corpolență medie, catifelat, perfect pentru savurat la desert cu brânză maturată și nuci. I-au trebuit 3 zile pentru a se deschide complet. După 4 ani și-a mai tocit taninurile încă bine aspectate, iar notele aromatice s-au esențializat. L-aș mai fi putut păstra dar nu sunt convins că ar mai fi crescut.
